LaVerne Hand Kelly, 77, of Bermuda Run, North Carolina (formerly of Greensboro), died peacefully at home on July 9, 2022.

Born in Salisbury, Mrs. Kelly is survived by her daughter Melissa Kelly (husband Christopher Lane) of Bermuda Run, son David Kelly (wife Laura) of Raleigh; grandchildren Elena Kelly and Andrew Kelly, both of Raleigh, Kenzie Lane and Sierra Lane of Bermuda Run, and Sawyer Lane (Frisco, Colorado); brother Frank Roseman Hand, Jr. (wife Kathy) of Albuquerque, New Mexico; and sister Rebekah Hand Pindzola (husband Mitch) of Auburn, Alabama. She is preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Dwight Colin Kelly; her father Frank Roseman Hand, Sr.; and her mother Alice LaVerne Hand.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 3, 2022, at 11:00 am at Forest Lawn Cemetery (3901 Forest Lawn Drive, Greensboro, NC 27455). Pastor Sara Smith of Clemmons United Methodist Church will officiate.
