In Memory

Margo Elizabeth Lawrence (Cavaliero)

Just wanted Libby’s FB friends to know my mom went to be WITH JESUS AT 5:00 am THIS MORNING. She had a very rapid declining dementia that began almost one year to the day. She was so peaceful when Jesus took her home. I am beyond blessed and grateful to have been with her during this journey. My sisters and I have lost an AWESOME human being we had the privilege of calling MOM! She was one of the nicest, kindest people I have ever known. She always had something nice to say about everyone! She had the gift of putting a “happy” spin on EVERYTHING no matter what it was. I’m so proud of who she was as a mother, wife, daughter and friend. She took all those roles seriously and gave all she had. My mother was a beautiful soul and now she is in eternity living a perfect life with our LORD AND SAVIOR......Molly

Obituary for Elizabeth "Libby" Cavaliero

Margo Elizabeth “Libby/Nana” Lawrence Cavaliero, 75, passed away April 6, 2020 at her home in Wilmington, NC.
A memorial service to honor Libby’s life will be held at a later date.
Libby was born November 2, 1944 in Mt. Airy, NC to the late Robert Esley Lawrence and his wife, Mary Ruth Hutchens Lawrence. She and her late husband, Frank Joseph Cavaliero, Jr. were blessed with 3 children, 16 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She took all those roles seriously and gave all she had. Being that Libby was a very modest and humble person, most people, even ones close to her, did not know that she was a very gifted and accomplished artist. Libby also had a deep appreciation for music and dance. She was one of the nicest, kindest people who always had something nice to say about everyone! She had the gift of putting a “happy” spin on EVERYTHING no matter what. She was a beautiful soul and now she is in eternity living a perfect life with our LORD AND SAVIOR.
Libby is survived by her three daughters, Molly Swain (Jess) of Wilmington, NC, Kelly Work (Charlie) of Forked River, NJ, and Cathy Eschler of New York; 16 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Forbis and Dick Guilford Chapel is serving the family and online condolences may be offered atwww.forbisanddick.com.
