I do not believe I ever saw Mary Stowe after graduating from GSH but she stands out in my memory as a studious and good person.  My loss for not having kept up. I was not surprised to see that she went on to Duke and then had a successful career in government.  My condolences to her family and close friends.  Sincerely, Steve

Mary Stowe and I were friends since I was 6 years old. We were neighbors and rode our bicycles everywhere, to Lindley Park pool, neighborhood sports of tetherball and roller bat, and she had a great comic book collection! I loved visiting her at her beautiful home on Madison Avenue and of course the Wilkins clan next door. We learned to play bridge in high school and she continued that fun game throughout her D.C. life. She was a faithful friend always remembering my birthday and keeping up with my life. She will be missed and so sad to say goodbye.
